Privacy
Short and without fine print: what LazyElo stores, where, why and for how long. The agreements about your account and subscription are in the terms of service.
On your own PC
- Your saved games, your focus goals, your settings and a log file are in your own user folder (AppData\Local\QueHelper). They don't go anywhere.
- Your Riot API key, any AI keys and your login are stored in Windows Credential Manager, not in a file.
- A bug report is only made when you make one yourself, and it contains no keys.
Your account
- Your account name, your email address and an encrypted form of your password. We only use your email address for your account: confirming it, forgotten passwords and important messages. No newsletter unless you ask for one yourself.
- Your plan (Free, Plus or Pro), until when it runs and whether you've already used your trial.
- A code for your PC, made from features of Windows and your hardware and then made unreadable. With it, your account works on one PC at a time (two with Pro), each PC gets only one trial, and we can block a PC that's used for abuse.
- The last 20 IP addresses your account connected from, with the time. We only use them to recognize and block abuse.
- While LazyElo is running, it checks in every minute: when you last used it, which version you have and whether you were in a game at that moment. From that, the server counts your minutes per day, which are kept for 70 days.
Payments
- Payments are processed by Stripe. Stripe receives your name, email address, country and payment details and keeps them under its own privacy policy. You enter your payment details on Stripe's checkout page, not on our site, and we don't store them.
- From Stripe, we only keep what's needed for your subscription: a customer and a subscription number, whether the subscription is running, whether it's monthly or yearly, and when it renews or ends.
Other data on the server
- For the tier lists and builds on this site, LazyElo sends your saved ranked games: per game the patch, the queue, your Solo/Duo rank at that moment as a group (such as Gold or Master+), and for all ten players the champion, the lane, the completed items, the keystone and the secondary rune tree, and which team won. From your own ARAM Mayhem games, it sends each player's champion, augments and items, and who won. No names and no account IDs; the match ID only as an unreadable derived value, so each game counts only once. The server doesn't store who sent which game, and only keeps totals. You can turn this off in Settings, under Account.
- Messages from the contact form: your name, the address where you'd like your answer and your message. Of your IP address, the site only keeps an unreadable derived value, for one hour, to limit spam.
- A blocked IP address or a blocked PC code is kept until the block is lifted.
- This site uses no tracking and no advertising cookies. If you log in on the site, it sets one cookie to keep you logged in.
At Riot Games and others
- LazyElo requests rank, mastery and games from the Riot Games API. Riot's terms apply to that.
- If you turn on AI in Settings with your own key, numbers from your own games and the champions in your game (no player names) go to the provider you choose, Anthropic or OpenAI. Without AI, that doesn't happen.
- With Pro, those same numbers go to Anthropic through our server, with our key. Of that, we only keep how many analyses you ran this month, not what was in them.
- Your account emails are sent for us by an email service. It only receives your email address and the message.
- The site and the server run on Vercel; the data is stored at Upstash, in the EU (Frankfurt).
Why, and what you can do yourself
- We use your data to make your account and subscription work (our agreement with you), and to prevent abuse and build the tier lists (our legitimate interest). We don't sell anything on.
- You can always ask which data we have about you, have it corrected or deleted, and object. Send a message through the contact page; you'll get an answer within a month.
- If you delete your account, we erase your account data within 30 days. Data that has to be kept for accounting, such as payments, we keep for as long as the law requires.
- You remove your local data by uninstalling LazyElo and deleting the AppData\Local\QueHelper folder.
- If you're not happy with how we handle your data, you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
