A Blitz alternative without ads

LazyElo is a free Blitz alternative for Windows with no ads in any plan. Like Blitz it runs without Overwolf and helps in champ select, the loading screen and the game, but it never imports runes for you and builds its advice from your own games. Blitz shows ads in its free version, and rival apps put Blitz Premium at $3.99 to $4.99 a month.

QuestionBlitzLazyElo
Needs OverwolfNo. Blitz is a standalone desktop app built on Electron.[1]No. LazyElo is a native Windows app of its own.
AdsYes, in the free version. Free users report autoplay video ads and pop-ups.[2, 3]None, not in the app and not on this site.
PriceFree with ads. Premium costs $4.99 a month, or $3.33 a month billed yearly, by one rival app's count, and $3.99 a month by another's.[2, 4]A free plan without ads. Plus (€4.99 a month or €39 a year) adds the full loading-screen analysis, the overlay, the post-game review and Focus; Pro (€9.99 a month or €79 a year) adds AI coaching on our servers. New accounts get 7 days of Plus.[6]
Memory useUnknown: we found no measurement we could source.428 MB idle in the lobby, measured by us (version 0.13.1, Windows, 32 logical cores, October 27, 2026). 511 MB during a game, measured by us (version 0.13.1, Windows, 32 logical cores; 30 measurements, one a minute, over one game, October 27, 2026).
PlatformA standalone Electron app. Its overlay works on Windows only.[1, 3]A native Windows app for Windows 10 and 11 (64-bit), installer 50 MB. No Overwolf and no browser engine.
Champ selectPick and ban suggestions, and rune and build import, including pro builds.[4]The best champion from your own pool for this draft, with the reason: your win rate on it, the lane matchup and the team fit. It shows your build and runes; you set them yourself.
Loading screenEach player's rank, win rate, recent performance and most-played champions, without player tags.[3]A score per player with the reasons, premades in their own color, labels such as one-trick, autofill and win or loss streaks, where the enemy jungler usually starts, the AD/AP split and a win chance per team.
In gameA benchmarking overlay that tracks your key numbers, a jungle pathing overlay, and minimap timers for jungle camps, inhibitors and dragon respawns.[5]What the TAB scoreboard shows, per lane beside your ability bar: level, K/D/A, CS per minute, item value, kill participation, spells, items and who is ahead, plus each champion's ult cooldown from the patch data. No timers and no alerts: it never tracks when an enemy used an ability.
After the gamePost-match analysis and match history.[4]Review: every death on a map with what led up to it, three short questions per death and an if-then plan for Focus. Plus the game against your own average on that champion: time without a ward, roams, CS at 10 minutes and damage per minute. AI explanations are included in Pro, or on Plus with your own API key.

Six questions to ask any League app

Ask them of Blitz and of LazyElo; the answers decide which one suits you.
  1. 1. Does it show ads?

LazyElo: no, in no plan, in the app or on this site.

  2. 2. What does it run on?

LazyElo: a native Windows app of its own. No Overwolf and no browser engine next to your game.

  3. 3. What does it cost your PC?

LazyElo: see the measured RAM and CPU below, with the date and version of each measurement.

  4. 4. Does it click or import things for you?

LazyElo: never. It shows builds and runes; you set them yourself. Some players prefer an app that imports runes for them, and that is a fair reason to pick another app.

  5. 5. What does it show during the game?

LazyElo: what the TAB scoreboard shows, per lane, and the cooldowns from the patch data. No timers and no alerts: it never tracks when an enemy used an ability.

  6. 6. Where does its advice come from?

LazyElo: your own games and lobbies at your elo, with the number of games behind every figure. Big stats sites have far more data; LazyElo has data closer to you.

Light on your PC

What LazyElo asks of your PC: first what follows from how it is built, then what we measured. We only put a number here once we have measured it.

By design

  • Native, without Overwolf

A Windows app of its own. No Overwolf and no browser engine running next to your game.

  • No ads

Nothing in the app loads ads or ad videos, in the lobby or during a game.

  • A small overlay

The overlay is a separate see-through window. It only draws scoreboard info and redraws twice a second.

  • Nothing inside the game

LazyElo reads the client and the game's own live data through the local connections Riot provides. It never runs inside the game process and never reads game memory.

Questions and answers

What to use instead of Blitz?

That depends on why you want to leave. If it is the ads, LazyElo has none in any plan, while Porofessor, Mobalytics and U.GG show ads in their free versions. If you want a lobby scout with player tags, Porofessor is known for that. If you mostly used Blitz for builds, the U.GG and OP.GG websites have them without installing anything.

What other apps are like Blitz?

Porofessor, Mobalytics, U.GG and OP.GG Desktop do the same kind of job: help in champ select, a look at the lobby and an overlay in game. Mobalytics needs Overwolf. Blitz, U.GG and OP.GG Desktop are Electron apps with ads in their free versions, and Porofessor comes in an Overwolf and a standalone version.

Does Blitz need Overwolf?

No. Blitz is a standalone desktop app built on Electron, and its overlay works on Windows only.
