Champion pool builder for LoL, from your own games
A LoL champion pool builder that starts from the champions you already play, keeps at least 10 per lane in your own order, and hands the same pool to champ select.
What the pool builder does
Web-based builders start from the full roster and ask you to choose. LazyElo's pool page starts from the games you have played and the champions you own mastery on, and the result is not a picture: it is the list champ select works from. What the champ select helper does with your pool is on its own page.
One pool per lane, at least 10 champions
Each lane button shows how many you have chosen; below 10 the page says how many are still missing.Fills itself from your own games
Fill from my games adds your most played champions in that lane, then the ones you have the most mastery on, until you have 10. Undo takes it back. After your first sync, an empty lane is filled with your own champions.Your own order
Drag a champion to move it; right-click or Delete removes it. The strip is your priority order, not the site's.Find any champion
A search box, and a filter that shows only the champions who play this lane, on by default.Champ select suggests from this list only
In champ select LazyElo scores the champions in the lane's pool against the draft and puts the best one first, with the reasons. Nothing outside the pool is ever suggested. After a patch, what changed for your champions
The patch check shows the changes for the champions in your pool, so you know before the first game.

How to build your pool with it
Open the Champion pool page
In the app, next to the tier lists. The five lane buttons sit at the top, each with the count of champions in that lane's pool.Pick your lane
Start with your main role. The page remembers the lane you were on, and champ select reads your assigned lane from the client when a draft starts.Fill from my games
One click adds your most played champions in that lane, then those with the most mastery, until the pool has 10. Nothing to play yet? The page says so, and you pick from the grid below instead.Edit the list
Click a champion in the grid to add or remove it, drag the strip into the order you want, right-click or Delete to remove. Ctrl+Z undoes the last change.Check the coverage against the counters
For each champion in your pool, its counter page lists the opponents it does worst against. If two of your champions lose to the same opponent, add one that handles it, from the LoL counters pages, or make that opponent your ban.
Repeat for your second role
A lane you get now and then needs a pool too, so champ select has something to say there. Two or three champions you will not lose the lane on is enough; the app still asks for 10 so bans leave something.
How big should your LoL champion pool be?
Two numbers that are often mixed up. The number of champions to play: two or three per role, closer to two below Diamond, because experience on a champion is worth more than a better matchup. The number to keep in the app's pool: at least 10 per lane, so champ select can still suggest something after bans and picks. The advice counts how much you have played each one recently, so the 10 do not take anything from your mains.
The rank-by-rank answer, with the reasoning, is in the guide: how many champions to play at your rank.
Pairs that cover each other on patch 26.21
| Lane | Main | Its hardest matchups | Second pick | Does well against |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Top Lane | ||||
| Mid |
A hardest matchup has at least 8 games and a win rate below 50% after it is pulled toward 50%, in the ranked games of LazyElo players on patch 26.21. The full table for every lane: champions that cover each other.
Which of your champions is a safe blind pick
The pool page does not judge your champions; champ select does, when it matters. While your lane opponent is unknown, each champion in the lane's pool is marked as a safe blind pick or as risky because it has clear counters, with the reason. The lane's view, per role and from the same data: which of your champions is a safe blind pick.
Other champion pool builders
Web-based pool builders such as itero.gg and lolcoach.academy start from the whole roster in a browser, and what you build there stays on their page. LazyElo's pool starts from your own games and mastery, lives in the app, and is the list champ select scores on your next draft. We have not compared their features in detail here and make no claim about them beyond that.
