A LoL scout for the loading screen

The moment your game starts loading, LazyElo looks up all ten players and shows them on one screen: who is dangerous and why, who plays together, where their jungler usually starts and which team is favored.

Every score comes with its reasons, so you know what it rests on.

LazyElo's loading screen scout with both teams, a score per player, premades and live stats per lane

What the scout shows

A score per player, with the reasons

Each player gets a score built from rank, experience on the champion, recent form, KDA and farm, and the scout says which of those weigh most. A one-trick on a 60% win rate reads differently from a player on their first game of a champion.
  • Labels such as one-trick, autofill, possible smurf, new on this champion, or a long win or loss streak.
  • Recent form: how the last games of each player went.
  • Rank and mastery for all ten players, also in the free plan.
  • For each enemy, their ult cooldown per rank and their summoner spell cooldowns, from the patch data. Nothing counts down.

Premades in their own color

Players who queue together show in a shared color with a Duo or Premade label, so you see at a glance which two lanes will roam to each other's help. The scout finds them in match history: two players on one team who share at least two of their last 20 games queued together.

Their jungler and the first gank

Which side the enemy jungler usually starts on and where their first gank tends to land, from their recent games.

Both teams side by side

A win chance per team, and per team how the damage splits into AD and AP, so you know early whether armor or magic resist pays off. Copy both teams as text for your Discord in one click.

Look up any player between games

The player lookup works like a small stats page inside the app: type a Riot ID and see that player's Solo/Duo and Flex rank, recent results, champions and roles, who they often play with, and the scout's notes that hold outside a game. It uses only Riot's public data and is closed during champ select and games. The free plan includes three lookups a day; Plus has no limit.

Within Riot's rules

The scout runs where the names are already on your screen, and never in ranked champ select.
  • Never clicks for you

It doesn't accept, pick, ban or lock anything, and it never imports runes or builds into your client. You do all of it yourself.
  • Never reads game memory

Only the League client and the game's own live data through the local connections Riot provides, so it runs fine next to Vanguard.
  • No timers, no alerts

In game it shows what the TAB scoreboard shows, more clearly. LazyElo shows the cooldowns from the patch data and never tracks when an enemy used an ability. No power-spike alerts, nothing that plays the game for you.
  • No ads, no Overwolf

A native Windows app of its own, without Overwolf or a browser engine, and without ads in any plan.

Light on your PC

What LazyElo asks of your PC: first what follows from how it is built, then what we measured. We only put a number here once we have measured it.

By design

  • Native, without Overwolf

A Windows app of its own. No Overwolf and no browser engine running next to your game.

  • No ads

Nothing in the app loads ads or ad videos, in the lobby or during a game.

  • A small overlay

The overlay is a separate see-through window. It only draws scoreboard info and redraws twice a second.

  • Nothing inside the game

LazyElo reads the client and the game's own live data through the local connections Riot provides. It never runs inside the game process and never reads game memory.

Premades, smurfs and other questions

What does a LoL scout do?

A scout looks up the players in your game and sums them up before it starts: who is experienced on their champion, who is on a streak, who plays together. LazyElo's scout does that while the loading screen is up.

Is there a way to tell if your teammates are premade?

Not directly: sites like OP.GG don't mark duos, so players work it out from match history. Two players who keep showing up in each other's recent games queued together. LazyElo's scout does that check for you when the game loads: players on the same team who share at least two of their last 20 games get the same color and a Duo or Premade label, on both teams. Premades are part of Plus.

How to spot a smurf in LoL?

Look for a low-level account with few ranked games and an unusually high win rate or KDA; a throwaway name is another hint. LazyElo's scout flags the clearest case: an enemy with 15 to 120 ranked games this season and a win rate of 65% or more gets a Possible smurf badge, with a tip to play safe in lane. On your own team it shows the same fact as a plain win rate, without the label. Badges are part of Plus. Riot acts on smurfing it can prove.

Best pregame stat app?

It depends on what you want to see before the game. Porofessor is the best known: rank, win rate and KDA on the champion, roles and player tags for all ten players. Blitz shows rank, win rate, recent form and main champions, without tags. LazyElo's scout gives each player a score with the reasons, marks premades, shows where the enemy jungler usually starts and gives a win chance per team, without ads or Overwolf.

Does it show my teammates in champ select?

No. Riot doesn't allow apps to show names or stats of other players in ranked champ select, so the scout starts when the game loads, when the names are on screen anyway.

What happens with players in Streamer Mode?

LazyElo leaves them out. A player the game hides with Streamer Mode shows as a hidden player with only their champion and role, and for an enemy the champion's usual items. LazyElo looks up nothing about that player: no rank, no history and no score, and they don't count toward premades or the win chance.

Is the scout free?

The free plan shows every player's name, rank and mastery. Plus (€4.99 a month or €39 a year) adds the score, badges, premades, the enemy jungler and the win chance. Every new account gets 7 days of Plus free.

Can I look up a player outside a game?

Yes, with the player lookup: type a Riot ID (Name#TAG) between games and see the player's Solo/Duo and Flex rank, recent games, champions and roles, and who they often play with. It is closed during champ select and games, so it never follows a live game.

Scout your next lobby

Install LazyElo, make a free account and queue up: the scout opens on its own when the loading screen does. It pairs with the overlay in game and the review after.
