Track your LP per game and per session

Riot shows the LP you have now. LazyElo keeps the history: every game, every session, from your first day.

Solo/Duo and FlexYour own session rule

What it does

Riot shows your current LP but keeps no history of it. LazyElo's Rank & sessions page stores your rank after every game it fetches, from the day you start using it, and builds your own LP history: a line of your LP over time for Solo/Duo and Flex, the LP each game gave you, and your sessions with their result and LP.

You can also set a session rule, such as a ten-minute break after three games. LazyElo reminds you once, calmly, when you reach it.

How it works, step by step

  1. Play as usual

After each game LazyElo fetches your new games from Riot and stores your Solo/Duo and Flex rank with the time. There is nothing to start or stop.
  2. Your LP over time

A line per queue, with promotions and demotions marked and a mark where a new season started your count over. With it: your LP change over the last 7 days and how many promotions and demotions you had. Hover over the line for the LP at each measurement.
  3. LP per game

Your last 25 ranked games in that queue, each with the LP it gave. When you played several games between two stored ranks, for example while LazyElo wasn't running, it shows the total over those games and says it can't split it per game.
  4. Your sessions

Games with less than 45 minutes' break between them count as one session. Each session shows when it was, every game as a square, the result and the LP per queue. On top: over the last 30 days, how many sessions you played, how many games they had on average, and the longest.
  5. Your session rule

Pick a number of games, from 1 to 10, and what to do then: a ten-minute break or stop for today. In the sessions list a line marks where your rule said stop, with your record in the games after it. Hover over the rule to see your own numbers: how often you win once you are past that game in a session, and how often before.
  6. One calm reminder

In the lobby nothing shows until you reach your rule. Then one line appears, and OK puts it away for the rest of the session. It never blocks the queue and never pops up in a game.

Why are my LP gains so bad?

Players keep asking it on Reddit, from “Why are my LP gains so bad?” (October 2026) to “How can you win 17 lp and lose 24 when you have 55% wr” (September 2026). Riot's own answer is short: LP is “rewarded for victory and deducted upon defeat”, and your MMR is “a secret”.

So nobody outside Riot can tell you your MMR, and Riot's developer policy doesn't allow apps to estimate it. What you can see is your own pattern: the LP of each game, over weeks, next to your sessions. That shows whether low gains are steady or a few odd games, and whether your worst LP days are your long ones.

What it won't do

  • No history from before you start

Riot keeps no LP history, so LazyElo can only begin with the first rank it stores.
  • No MMR number

Riot's developer policy names MMR and Elo calculators as not allowed. LazyElo shows LP, which is what Riot gives you.
  • No pop-ups and no blocking

The session rule is a reminder you set yourself, shown once in the lobby. It never stops you from queuing.

Who it's for

  • Players asking where their LP went

You want the LP of each game in front of you, not a feeling about the last ten.
  • Players who play long sessions

You want to see where your sessions start to slip, and a quiet nudge when you reach your own limit.
  • Players working on one thing

Rank & sessions is where you see whether the plan from Focus shows up in your LP.

For when to stop for the day, the guide How to stop tilting covers loss streaks, long sessions and setting a rule before you queue.

The loop between games

Four pages in the app that feed each other. A death in Review becomes a plan in Focus, your plan per opponent waits in Matchups, and Rank & sessions shows whether your LP moves. Then the next game goes back to Review.

  1. Step 1

    Review

Each death on the map, three questions, one plan.

  2. Step 2

    Focus

One if-then plan per role, measured for 15 games.

  3. Step 3

    Matchups

Your own plan per opponent, asked in champ select.

  4. Step 4, then back to 1

    Rank & sessions (this page)

Your LP per game and per session.

Questions and answers

Why am I losing more LP than I gain?

Riot doesn't publish the formula. Its support page says LP is “rewarded for victory and deducted upon defeat” and that your MMR is “a secret”. Guides that explain the gap usually point to hidden MMR, but those are commercial sites, not Riot. What you can do is measure it: LazyElo shows the LP of every game, so you can see whether the gap is steady or a few odd games.

Can LazyElo show my MMR?

No. Riot's developer policy names MMR and Elo calculators as not allowed, and OP.GG says it stopped its own MMR feature because of Riot's API policy. LazyElo shows your LP per game instead.

Can it show my LP from before I installed it?

No. Riot keeps no LP history, so your line starts with the first rank LazyElo stores. Your sessions can go back further, as far as your stored games, but without LP before that first rank.

What counts as a session?

Games with less than 45 minutes' break between them. A longer break starts a new session.

Does it track Flex too?

Yes. Rank & sessions has a line and an LP list for Solo/Duo and for Flex. Sessions count all your games, whatever the queue.

Is the LP tracker free?

Rank & sessions is part of Plus (€4.99 a month or €39 a year). Every new account gets 7 days of Plus free, without a payment card.
