Porofessor vs Mobalytics: scouting app or coaching app?
Porofessor is the scouting app: it reads the lobby better than anyone, with tags and stats for all ten players. Mobalytics is the coaching app: a score over eight skills, a post-game report and clips, with the deeper tools in Plus at $9.99 a month. Mobalytics' desktop app still needs Overwolf; Porofessor hasn't since December 2025. Both are free with ads, both are Windows apps.

Hexgate, cited for the Overwolf row and the Plus prices, makes a rival app; its grouping of other apps was cross-checked against the Overwolf store listings.
Pick Porofessor if...
...the loading screen is where you want help. Porofessor shows, for every player, rank, win rate and KDA on the champion, main roles and player tags, plus the strengths and weaknesses of both teams, from the last 30 days of normal and ranked games. Its overlay has jungle, objective and inhibitor timers and a build tracker, and porofessor.gg shows anyone's live game by Riot ID without installing anything.
...you want to drop Overwolf but keep the app: the standalone build of December 5, 2025 runs on Electron instead, with the same ads in the free version.

Pick Mobalytics if...
...you want to get better between games and don't mind Overwolf. The GPI scores eight skills, the post-game report ranks you from 1st to 10th in your game, Smart Highlights saves clips of your key plays (one free per game, all five with Plus), and your profile has LP gain graphs across the season. Buildzcrank, another rival, calls it the “most comprehensive post-game analytics” of the six apps it compared.
...you play TFT, Valorant or Diablo IV too: the same app covers them. The price of all that is Plus at $9.99 a month, and the Overwolf client next to your game.

Running both
You can, and some players do, Porofessor for the lobby and Mobalytics for the review. The cost is two overlays on the same screen, two apps that both want to import your runes, and the memory of both: by iTero's measurement about 1,000 MB plus 1,400 to 2,000 MB during a game. Google's AI answer and ChatGPT both end with the same advice, one companion app at a time, and the ChatGPT answer adds: don't enable automatic rune imports in more than one. If you run both anyway, switch import off in one of them.
Blitz as the third name
The same searches often add Blitz. Blitz is the convenience pick: it never needed Overwolf, imports runes and builds with one click including pro builds, and adds a jungle pathing overlay and camp timers, with ads in the free version and Premium at $4.99 a month. It scouts the lobby with rank, win rate and recent form but without Porofessor's tags, and its post-game is analysis and history rather than coaching. How Porofessor and Blitz differ is its own page.

What changes after April 2027
“For known and currently approved tools, we will have an extended grace period until April 2027, after which time, they will need to have switched to the official APIs”
That is Riot's notice of September 29, 2026. Since October 6, 2026 Riot blocks game memory access by default for apps it doesn't know; tools it knows and has approved have until April 2027 to move to the official APIs. Riot names no app, so this page can't say whether Porofessor or Mobalytics is on that list or needs to be. As of October 30, 2026 we found no public statement from either maker on the notice. Riot adds that the change “This change does not result in bans by itself”; what it does mean for each app is on the October 2026 explainer.

LazyElo for post-game review without ads or Overwolf
A review that ends in a plan
Every death on the map with what led up to it, three short questions, and an if-then plan Focus measures for 15 games. The game is compared with your own average on that champion, not with a global index.A scout with the reasons
In the loading screen: a score per player with what it rests on, premades, the enemy jungler's usual start and a win chance per team. Less data than Porofessor, more explanation. No ads, no Overwolf, no browser engine
A native Windows app. We measured 428 MB of RAM idle in the lobby and 511 MB during a game with the overlay on at 0.0% CPU. An FPS test with and without LazyElo is still in progress, so we make no FPS claim yet. What it doesn't do
No rune import, no clips, no TFT, no Mac. Review, Focus and the full scout are Plus (€4.99 a month or €39 a year), with 7 days free. The side-by-side pages: instead of Mobalytics, instead of OP.GG and instead of U.GG.
Light on your PC
What LazyElo asks of your PC: first what follows from how it is built, then what we measured. We only put a number here once we have measured it.
By design
Native, without Overwolf
A Windows app of its own. No Overwolf and no browser engine running next to your game.
No ads
Nothing in the app loads ads or ad videos, in the lobby or during a game.
A small overlay
The overlay is a separate see-through window. It only draws scoreboard info and redraws twice a second.
Nothing inside the game
LazyElo reads the client and the game's own live data through the local connections Riot provides. It never runs inside the game process and never reads game memory.

Can I use Porofessor and Mobalytics at the same time?
Nothing stops you, but you pay for it twice: two overlays over the same game, two apps importing runes, and, by iTero's rival measurement, about 1,000 MB plus 1,400 to 2,000 MB of memory. Google's own AI answer and ChatGPT both advise one companion app at a time, and so do we. Pick the one that matches the moment you care about, and turn off rune import in the other.
Which is lighter on your PC, Porofessor or Mobalytics?
By the only published figures, which iTero, a rival app, measured in March 2026 and which are not a standard test: Porofessor about 1,000 MB during a game with Overwolf, Mobalytics about 1,400 MB and often close to 2,000 MB. The standalone Porofessor drops the Overwolf client but runs on Electron, a browser engine; no one has published a figure for it. For comparison, we measured LazyElo at 511 MB during a game on version 0.13.1.
