How Sonata plays

Sonata is S tier over all champions on patch 26.21: #21 of 226 augments and #8 of the 90 gold cards. That is the average over every champion; on the right one it is worth more, on the wrong one much less.

It gives ally heals and shields and movement speed, so it pays off on champions that already use those. On a champion that doesn't, it is a wasted pick, whatever its tier.

It does best on Lulu, Karma and Senna. 12 of its 15 best champions are supports.

It is stronger early: S tier as a first pick and A tier by the fourth pick. Take it when it shows up early.

The card it pairs with best is Purist - Caster: if you already have one of the two, the other jumps up your list.
