How to play Nasus in ARAM Mayhem
Nasus is a solid, middle-of-the-pack pick in ARAM Mayhem on patch 26.21: tier B, #57 of 173 champions, with a 50.6% win rate over 1,215,197 games.
Nasus's damage is mixed (55% physical, 40% magic), which makes it awkward for the enemy team to itemize against. It soaks 55,025 damage per game and mitigates another 68,467, so it belongs at the front: start fights and absorb the poke your carries can't.
The Tank build, tank items, is both the most played and the top-ranked path: Trinity Force, Spirit Visage and Frozen Heart, with a 51.8% win rate over 338,154 games. For boots, most players buy Mercury's Treads, but Ionian Boots of Lucidity rank higher.
The cards that do best on Nasus are Armored Impact, The Boom and the Bass and BONK!. Cards built around movement speed fill most of the top of its list, followed by health and resistances. Most of its S-tier cards are prismatic, so a prismatic offer is often the pick that shapes the game. Skip Flashbang and Gift of the Drowned when you can: they do worst on Nasus. A pair to look for: Armored Impact with The Boom and the Bass.
Take Flash and Ghost (16% of players); Mark is the common alternative. Max Q (Siphoning Strike) first, then E, then W. Players who max Q first instead win a little more often, so it is worth trying.
